Meet Your Speech Therapist

Jenn Parham, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Jenn received her bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Iowa in 2008. She moved to Boston and became a teaching assistant in the deafblind program at Perkin’s School for the Blind. This is where Jenn first became interested in communication, and she decided to combine her interests. She received an MA in Art Museum Education from Newcastle University in 2012, and worked in education and evaluation at various art museums. However, Jenn was interested in inclusive education programming for museums, and jobs in this area were limited. In addition, most museum work is behind a desk, not working with people.

Jenn became certified as an RBT while she decided what she wanted to retrain as; while ABA therapy does not align with Jenn’s personal therapy style, she is grateful for the knowledge of ABA she acquired while working in ABA clinics.

Jenn received her MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University in 2022 and initially became the SLP at an ABA center for Autistic children ages 1-7. This is where Jenn first discovered her love of gestalt language processing, and completed training in the NLA framework. Her husband’s job then moved them to the Denver metro, where Jenn has since worked in pediatric clinics, home-health companies, and preschools. Jenn continues to work part-time as a contract preschool speech therapist, in addition to running Ducklings Pediatric Speech Therapy.

Jenn has training in NLA, play-based therapy, DTTC, and AAC. She is passionate about trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming care.
